Open-air activities

Hiking:

Hiking is a favourite occupation in the northern part of the Auvergne. There are some fifteen different circuits around Montluçon itself, all with the FFRP label, including one 'intra muros' for those who like to get off the beaten track. The others traverse the Bourbonnais farmlands, here crossing over the various tributaries of the Cher, there climbing the foothills in the Creuse and the Puy de Dôme.

Golf:

An 18-hole golf course just 3 minutes from the town centre with all that a keen golfer could need: Warm and convivial clubhouse, proshop, a 17-booth driving range, putting green and approach area plus the advice and guidance of the resident professional, Benjamin Simard.
